I love the 4th of July! Not just for the fireworks, parades, music, watermelon, and barbecue picnics, but because this is a great country. Do your children appreciate the United States of America? Do they know who shaped this nation or why? They should. This month will you take time to tell your kids about some of our country's founding fathers: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere, and so many more? Let's not ignore our roots or lose the courage to stand strong as Americans.
